After reading "The Earth on Turtles Back", I can say that the moral of the story is to never give up on your determination and always have an open heart to the animals as they were to our ancestors.

It's Symbolic
1. 3 examples of symbols I encounter in my life would be the symbols on my math school textbook, the newspapers my dad reads at times, and ad banners on the internet.
2. Two possible meanings of the green light at the end of Daisy's dock in the The Great Gatsby would be the color of money like "green with envy". Also it could probably mean, green light means go, which Gatsby should take a chance and make a move on the love of his life.
3. Some ways that people are similar to animals are that we both are born, eat, sleep, relieve our selfs, mate, die, and have our own unique language.
4. One major way that humans are different to animals it that we humans started inventing ideas which later on became us sharing meaning.
5. By us telling stories and inventing symbols everything can people possible in far larger numbers.

Hack to School Night
1. The hardest part of starting school during the pandemic is not being able to socialize as much with my friends, and having to stare at a screen for about 7 hours, sometimes I get headaches here and there. Sometimes it's hard to do the work since you can't really get help right away like if you were at school, also because I have duties to do around the house, like cleaning, and sometimes babysitting my little brothers.
2. What I enjoy the most about starting school during the pandemic is just being able to be home all day without having to go out and walk to campus. I can finally have my mom's cooking all day while doing online school, unlike being at school and eating cafeteria food. I could also enjoy more time being with family, like my dad, 3 brothers, and my mom.
3. My goals for this year, is to be able to pass every class and pass sophomore year with at least a 3.7 or higher. I want to be able to improve in writing essays, and in my spanish writing, and reading, also I would like to get in better shape then I'm already in. Something I want to better improve in is in swimming because I barley know how to, I like to go to the pools and most of my friends already know how to swim, but due to Covid-19 were not allowed to.
4. One habit that I need to stop doing to better succeed in school is procrastinating, because sometimes I leave all my work till the very end and it's nearly impossible to finish it all. I need to become more responsible on doing and turning my work early and knowing which assignments to do first based on their due dates.
5. On the semester report card I want to be able to get at least an A or a A-, but I do see myself getting either a B+ or an A.

PANDEMIC PEDAGOGY!!
My first week of school was great, I enjoyed being home and still being able to have school. It is different to learning on campus for example, we can't meet in person if we need help, also its easier to understand the work given if we were at school. I do like being home because now I don't have to wake up really early to get ready, and walk to school which took like 12 minutes. I also get to enjoy more time being home with my family, and eating whatever delicious food my mom makes instead of cafeteria food which at most I don't like. All in all, my first week was good except the fact that I can't socialize with my friends at school anymore, there is a lot of pros and cons about online schooling.
My Opinion is that I'm not entitled!!
I'm not entitled to my opinion because I don't discredit any one's else opinion, I believe in what others have to say. I think that any opinion is valuable because you never know if that person has a good idea or is actually correct instead of yourself. Though every person can have their own idea, I belief that hearing others can benefit you in ways you didn't know. That's why I'm not entitled to my opinion even if it's mine, it's interesting having someone explain how they see things differently, it may cause an argument but its just the search for the truth of the situation.

Narciso's blog adventure
Hello, my name is Narciso Baez, I'm 14 years old, from Santa Maria in California. I was first introduced to Blogs back in summer school with Dr.Preston, it was fun getting to type your idea's and stories down, and guess what all the work you do is yours and stays saved. One of my favorite blogs I've made in the past was getting to create a story with my own characters and surroundings. Thus it helped me improve my writing, tying, and just overall knowledge on literature, I welcome you all to my new blog adventure.
