WHY I CHOOSE WHAT I CHOOSE
I choose "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" by J.K. Rowling as a fun book to read because I already read the 1st two books of the series and I loved the series, so I want to keep reading the series till I finish it.
HOW WE READ!!
Reading is supposed to be fun, but sometimes reading for school is a challenge. Here are four ways we can have more fun reading and do it better at the same time.
1. I feel that a way for reading to be fun for school and do better at the same time, would be by us students not having a certain date to finish the book by, which will allow us students to not have a lot of pressure on us while reading.
2. Another reason to make reading fun and better for school would be by letting us choose our own books when time to choose books.
3. By us not having a lot of homework assignments, we actually might like to read and do it better without pressure, wondering if we have time to complete all assignments.
4. The last way I think that reading can become fun and much better at school would be by teachers allowing us to choose any book we want. At times, teachers only allow us students to pick a certain type of book and certain Lexile the book has to have in order for us to read the book, which can make us not want to read the book as much.

MSS PART 2
1. The difference between a symbol and a sign, is that a symbol can convey a deeper and more complex meaning than a sign. A sign is just a indicator or marker for something very specific.
2. The three elements of the symbolic relationship are the actual symbol, Referent which is the idea of the symbol, and us, we interpret the actual meaning of the symbol to give it meaning to the world.
3. A word is an idea but until we interpret it and give it a meaning its becomes a symbol.
4. One natural sign that I've seen in the world would be a "Stop" sign.
5. One symbol that I've seen in the world, would be a Stop sign, its referent stands for cars to come to a stop. I knew what it meant because of the word stop and also from seeing cars stopping before it, from my parents as well.
